Synopsis: During the pandemic, many older and disabled adults and their families are weighing their long-term care options a bit differently than usual. Questions about infection control, quality of life, and avoiding social isolation are at the forefront of people’s minds, including:
• Where is the best location to care for my loved one?
• How can my family member and I thrive while living through this time of uncertainty?
• If I move my loved one home, am I prepared to care for them?
• What type of care can we afford?
In this webinar, Aging Life Care Professional and clinical social worker Susan Valoff will examine the pros and cons of care at home versus assisted living and provide you with an important list of questions to ask care providers as you evaluate your options in the time of COVID-19.
